Privacy policy
Custom Shed Plans collects as little as it can. This page says what we keep, why, and who else is involved.
While you design
- Your design (sizes and options) is sent to our server to draw the free preview, and is saved only in your own browser so it's still there next visit. We don't keep previews.
- We count how often the sponsor card is shown and how often shop and sponsor links are clicked, by page and month. These counts don't include your name, email or IP address.
When you buy a plan set
- We save the design you bought, the date, and whether it's paid, so your download link keeps working.
- Checkout is run by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details and billing information; we never see or store your card number. Stripe gives us your email address and the amount paid, which we use to send your download link and receipt, and to help if you contact us. Stripe's own privacy policy covers what it does with your payment information.
- If we email your download link, it's sent through our email provider.
"Tell me when it's ready"
If you sign up on a "Coming soon" page, we keep your email and which product you asked about, and send you one email when it's ready. Ask and we'll delete it.
Cookies and similar
- Your design is kept in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data removes it.
- We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. If we start showing Google ads, we'll update this page first and ask visitors in the EU and UK for consent.
Other services
- Cloudflare hosts the site and keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security.
- Google Fonts supplies the page fonts, so Google sees a request from your browser.
- Shop links take you to stores such as Amazon, which have their own privacy policies.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your information, and we only use your email for your purchase or the sign-up you asked for.
Your choices
Email hello@customshedplans.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. We keep purchase records as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.
